Christina Friedrichsen knew from the moment she got engaged that she didn't want a cookie-cutter wedding. She wanted a wedding that was unique, fun and most of all intimate. She wanted to celebrate her big day with the people who mattered most in her life. The idea of inviting dozens of guests she hardly knew did not fit in with her or her husband's vision of a great wedding.
When she began planning her intimate wedding, which included only 50 guests, she quickly realized that there was little information on the topic. All of the wedding planning books seemed to cater to large weddings.
After connecting with other frustrated brides who were also planning small weddings, Christina realized there was a dire need for a wedding book that spoke to brides like her.
"There wasn't anything out there that said it was okay to have a small wedding. There wasn't anything out there that validated our choice to have a small guest list," says Christina.
After spending nearly a year researching small weddings and interviewing nearly 100 couples, Christina began to write.
The result is the book that she wished that she had when she planned her wedding.

Any couple considering an intimate wedding will be energized and ready to get started after reading this book. It is attractive and easy to read and truly does lend emotional support to those that are having a small, maybe less traditional wedding. I encourage all of my clients to read this book.
