Intimate Weddings is the go-to site for planning a small wedding. In fact, Intimate Weddings is the only major blog that is devoted to small weddings (weddings with less than 75 guests). The site currently averages more than 500,000 unique visitors per month and more than 1,300,000 million page views. (Google Analytics). It ranks #1 on Google.com for the search terms small weddings, intimate weddings and small wedding venues.

The catalyst for IntimateWeddings.com was Christina’s book Intimate Weddings: Planning a Small Wedding that Fits Your Budget and Style (Northlight books, 2004) which Christina wrote after her own intimate, 50-guest, backyard wedding.

Since then, small weddings have skyrocketed in popularity; Intimate Weddings remains the only major blog that is devoted to this niche in the wedding market.

Press includes: Cosmopolitan, NBC.com, The Globe and Mail, Canadian Living, Essence Magazine, The Huffington Post, Detroit News, Seattle Post Intelligencer, The Calgary Herald and many other daily newspapers in the US and Canada.

About Christina

Before launching IntimateWeddings.com, Christina worked as a newspaper editor and a freelance journalist, with articles appearing in many regional and national publications.

Shortly after getting married, Christina wrote Intimate Weddings: Planning a Small Wedding that Fits Your Budget and Style (Northlight books, 2004). Christina wrote the book because she felt there was a huge void in the wedding planning section of store bookshelves; nothing spoke to couples having small weddings.

She and her husband launched IntimateWeddings.com in 2008. Blood (DIY projects often involve knives, scissors and guillotine paper cutting devices), sweat and tears have gone into making it one of the most popular wedding blogs on the web.
