Love love love this idea! Im trying to incorporate unique ideas into the must have elements of my wedding and this fits perfect! Could you give post a few more details about how it was built? I’m in the country so I will have to put it together myself, was there a foam type core that the brooches/earrings pinned into? Any tips you can post would be so helpful! Thank you!

Hi Naois-
I used brooches and antique earrings in the bouquet. I probably bought about 6 pair of earrings and 20-25 brooches. Amanda who made my bouquet added some to it. I think that she put about 6 in there. Hope that helps! I looked at thrift stores and antique stores.

@Kristin – how many brooches normally go into a bouquet. I’m really considering this so have started collecting and the wedding is a while away so still have time but find it hard to figure out how many I will need

It was about $350 to have Amanda put the bouquet together. I bought the brooches myself..you can spend as much as you want on them or have people give them as gifts at a shower. We eloped secretly..so we didn’t have the option. Flowers are quite pricey and don’t last forever like my bouquet. It is certainly your choice..but we loved it.

i love this idea and so doesn’t my fiance! and i almost thought of doing it but don’t you think $600 is a bit excessive for one small bouquet?? or was it all bouquets were $600 together?? i mean regular flowers may have cost a ton cheaper, and you still could have achieved that vintage look??
