One of my favorite intimate weddings happens to be…my own. I planned my DIY Intimate Wedding in six months. It was exactly what I wanted! I had a garden themed ceremony at New York’s Central Park Conservatory Garden, then finishing it up with a backyard garden themed wedding reception. I had my delicious raspberry custard cream basketweave cake, all while only 55 of our closest family and friends witnessed our union.

Nowadays, weddings can be traditionally non-traditional! You can have your intimate wedding in restaurants, elope at the local carnival, backyards, cafes, libraries, rooftop lounges, I mean the possibilities are endless.

I love the sweet love stories, the elopements, the offbeat side of the bride & groom. Whether you are renewing your vows or saying “I do” barefoot in a field of sunflowers.
