The Chesterfield Inn is the perfect place for an intimate country wedding. The grounds are beautifully landscaped for an outdoor ceremony, either on the lawn or the terrace overlooking the meadow. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the terrace after the ceremony and then move inside for dinner in our candlelit dining room.
For a winter wedding, the ceremony can be held in the parlor in front of the fireplace or looking out at the trees around the terrace lit with sparkly white lights.
For weddings or greater than 35 guests, we do require that you book the entire inn for the weekend. We have 15 comfortable guest rooms for your guests, and you then have the entire property for your wedding weekend.

You can choose where you’d like to have the ceremony: on the grounds in the warm weather or in the parlor in colder months. We can rent a tent for you if you’d like to have the ceremony outdoors regardless of the weather, or you can move inside if it is rainy. We can help you find a local Justice of the Peace or you can bring your own officiant.

For a wedding or more than 35, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres can be served in the parlor or on the terrace, dinner is served in the dining room, and after dinner dancing in the parlor. For smaller weddings, the entire wedding will be on the terrace and in the private parlor dining room.
