When you choose a destination wedding at Retreat in the Pines, your guests will be able to enjoy your joyous occasion with minimal travel cost, as we are located two hours from the Dallas area. Drive, fly (Tyler Pounds Regional Airport is a 30 minute drive) or enjoy an old fashioned ride on the train (Amtrack station located in Mineola).
Our cabins can sleep up to 18 in beds. Two full kitchens give you the flexibility to cook for your guests or even for your event. Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy a cup of coffee as you take in the beautiful views of nature on one of our four porches. The serenity deck and wood stairs are perfect for a wedding toast and photos. The large stone fireplace is ideal for warming up with loved ones over a glass of wine in cooler weather.

Like a blank wedding canvas ready to be made uniquely your own, Retreat in the Pines offers only the property for your wedding. Choose from several beautifully lit natural areas of the property for the ceremony and make the space your own. Brides have strung lights, hung dream catchers and woven colorful strings and fabric through the trees. Everything necessary for the wedding besides the venue will be the responsibility of the renter. For events with more than 20 people, we recommend having your guests park off site and utilizing a shuttle service to transport to the property.

Being outdoors, we recommend renting a tent, tables and chairs for your reception. We have the ideal spot to set up a tent to seat up to 75 guests. Your guests will be able to comfortably enjoy the reception, while looking out on a spectacular view of nature.
