A walk . . . on the beach, through the forest, just about anywhere!

  2. Kara says:

We love to go on long canoe rides – there is something marvelous about being out in the middle of a lake, when everything is completely still, and we are utterly alone !

  3. Jessica says:

I find romance in the everyday moments that strengthen our love. Like waking up early to make coffee for the other person, or bringing home dinner when the other is working late. To me, these things mean the most.

Of course, a spontaneous weekend getaway is also one of my romantic favorites :)

  4. ayesha says:

romance is coming home from my yoga class and having my honey (already) juicing my fruits. romance is those little unplanned moments that make you go…he or she really loves me!

  5. Ginger says:

I find a home cooked meal and a good movie to be an intimate romantic evening with my fiance!

  6. Nightfall says:

I think any moment when I know I have my man’s full attention, when I feel that bubble around me holding out the rest of the world, when he’s not stressing about work/finances/future. Sometimes the moment is small, a foreheads-together hug at the end of the day, sometimes it’s a dinner he’s made or planned, sometimes it’s a walk around the block.

  7. JessicaC says:

I love it when my fiance and I have a chance to make a cup of tea and read sitting next to each other on the couch. It’s just so very us…

  8. Sheila says:

For one of our first dates, my husband made me chicken parmesan with a caesar salad, and crusty garlic bread. It was so sweet, and I could tell he was trying to make it romantic and perfect. The funny part is, even tho it was probably the best chicken parm I have ever had, I was barely interested in the meal, and far more focused on the chef!

  9. Dianna says:

For our last anniversary my husband got up very early after I left for the gym and cleaned the ENTIRE house. Vacuumed, dusted, sparkling toilets…everything. Not romantic by some standards, but the best and sweetest AND romantic gift to me!

  10. Kim Wallis says:

When he leaves me little post it notes so I can find them when I wake up….” I love you today”

  11. Dani says:

This Valentines Day my boyfriend & I will taking a sushi making class. I think is very romantic to take part & learn something you both love. And later on we get to use our new skills at home in the kitchen for a romantic night of homemade sushi!!

  12. Michelle says:

It’s the little thoughtful things that he does… for instance I’d had a really hard day at work (in fact a few hard days back to back) and although all I wanted was to curl up on the couch in sweats and cry… he made me get up (still in sweats! He told me it didn’t matter!) and as a surprise took me to our first date restaurant. It was very very sweet and my tears of frustration turned to tears of happiness. We’re so lucky to have found eachother.

  13. Jill says:

Chris is marrying me on a Tuesday afternoon in the middle of June because it’s our 7th anniversary and I’d been requesting that as our wedding date since 2005. (Even though he only proposed a month ago.)

  14. wendi newman says:

wasting time with someone…that’s truly something special- doesn’t matter what you’re doing exactly, but it shows that you don’t always have to be doing SOMETHING.

  15. Karen says:

I’d say when my fiance cooks me dinner and we spend time talking about our day after a long day of school and class, it is the most romantic thing ever. I’m lucky to have a guy who likes cooking, so this happens alot!

  16. fokxxy says:

I am a fan on facebook (Summer P.)

I have always thought that cooking together was romantic. I love to cook and I especially find it fun and flirty to cook with your partner.

Please enter me. These are beautiful.

  17. MsBear says:

My FI and I were in a long distance relationship for awhile. On a particularly bad day, I had a surprise at my door — He had called my favourite chinese food place and ordered my favourite food as a surprise for me. Even though we were apart, it was totally romantic. :)

  18. jen says:

My fiance puts my towel in the dryer while I’m in the shower and then hands it to me nice and hot when I’m ready to dry off. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is!

  19. Kate says:

My fiance tucks me in at night if I go to bed before him. There are days that I’m so tired I practically collapse after work and he comes in the bedroom, takes off my glasses, clicks off my light and tucks me in. It’s adorable.

  20. Amanda says:

Romance is bringing our matress onto the living room floor, and cudling up while eating chinese take out and watching our favorite movie on a minus 40 evening.

Sometimes livin in the arctic isn’t that bad ;)

  21. Carol says:

walled gardens. “the secret garden” has always been one of my childhood favorites. the idea of a secret place full of green and sunshine and flowers… i swoon

  22. Shawna Kennedy says:

The most romantic thing to me is when we are walking somewhere, and he puts his hand on the small of my back. Just that little gesture makes me feel so loved, every time :)

  23. JD says:

Sitting in front of the fire… so warm and cuddly and the soft light!

  24. Katie says:

Last winter, I was snowed into my apartment and ran out of Diet Coke (and I have a serious affection for Diet Coke, so this was kind of a problem). To make matters worse, I was in the midst of writing a mid-term paper (and thus in desperate need of caffeine). In a grand romantic gesture, my fiance showed up at my front door with a 12 pack of Diet Coke – he had braved the horrific roads, (without me even asking!) to bring me a treat. I nearly swooned. True romance is found in the little things.

  25. Nikki says:

My boyfriend lives 853 miles away from me and even though we talk on the phone text, and skype all day and every day, he hand writes me letters every week that tell me how much he loves me and a little bit about his week and how he cant wait to see me again. He also sprays it with his cologne because he knows I love and miss the smell of him. He is the most romantic and the best boyfriend in the entire world.

  26. Heather Garland says:

What I consider romantic is when your significant other does something nice for you (gets you a card or flowers or plans a nice dinner together) when they aren’t obligated to, and they do it just because. To me that is the most romantic and best times :) Thanks for the chance at a cool giveaway!

  27. Lauren says:

I love that when we go on walks together, my fiance will randomly pick me up and spin me around to make me laugh. It doesn’t matter where we are, or how many people are watching. It really makes me feel like I’m living in a fairy tale.

  28. meg says:

the most romantic thing my boyfriend does is get up early to start my car and brush off the snow before i go to work! he doesn’t have to get up and go to work for 4 or 5 more hours, he just does it because he loves taking care of me.

  29. Kristen M. says:

This Christmas my husband surprised me with a wedding band (I’d lost my original band three years ago). But the even greater surprise was a special love letter announcing that we will renew our vows this summer to celebrate 13 years of marriage. It will be an intimate ceremony involving our two children. What a great gift!

  30. Jennifer R. says:

In the mornings I leave for work about 3 hours before my fiance, and often don’t get home until after he does, so by the time I get there I’m exhausted. I find it romantic when he volunteers to make dinner, or do the dishes so I can finally relax and put my feet up. It’s the little things that make life better.

  31. dymphna says:

a night of dancing would be great for me.

    fb fan

  32. Brianne Gibson says:

romance is when he vaccuums and makes me sloppy joes. I’m pretty easy. :)

  33. nick writes me notes and draws me pictures, then hides them all over the house so i will find them when he is gone. i scan each and every one of them, so that i will have them forever.

  34. Beth says:

My fiance and I dance in the kitchen together. It’s totally hokey, but part of our day. :)

  35. Danica says:

I love cooking together, no matter how casual I feel like that’s always a romantic thing. My man did make me an uber sweet gift when I moved back into town though. He compiled a “Survival Kit” for the town and filled it with things like a camera, and my favorite snacks. So sweet. Great Giveaway, thanks!

  36. Emily L. says:

Romance is when he buys me my favorite ice cream because he sees that I’m out. Or when he saves the last bite of his chocolate cake even though I haven’t asked. Basically, my romance is highly correlated with delicious food.

  37. Jordan B. says:

I made my fiance go see The Notebook way back in high school when we first started dating (and way before he was my fiance). I was gushing on and on about how he made her an art studio in that beautiful house he built, and how much I would die to have an art studio. Years later, when we were in college, he made me stay at his apartment while he was “working on my Christmas gift.” He finally returned and we decided to go eat dinner at my house (I was renting a house with some friends). He had spent the entire day making this spare bedroom into my very own art studio, complete with a new easel, canvases, paints, brushes, the whole nine yards. He said, “I have been waiting to use this gift idea ever since we saw that movie in high school.” He’s sweet. :)

  38. jinx2 says:

not many people will find this romantic, but i love just sitting at home cuddling in front of the TV with popcorn and watching a movie.

  39. nicole b. says:

The most romantic thing my boyfriend did was propose to me in front of our closest friends. It was the most memorable experience for us both (and for our buddies). Thanks for the chance to win these great goodies.

  40. megan says:

my morning ritual of saying goodbye to my guy is romance to me. he always walks me to the door and we kiss, not a peck, but real kisses that make me want to stay home from work. everyday too. its such a good start to the day and makes me feel connected to him.

fingers are crossed! such a great giveaway! :)

  41. Naazia says:

i just became a fan on facebook! i grew up on the beach, and although this is totally cliche, i find walks on the beach highly romantic :) and i LOVE paper, what a great giveaway!

  42. Jenna says:

Almost every Saturday, I wake up to the smell of my fiance cooking me breakfast. If not that, I wake up to him cuddling up to me to get warm. The first is a sweet, romantic gesture, and the second is just one of the little things that makes me glad to be sharing a home with him.

    (FB Fan – Jenna F!)

  43. Lauren says:

the most romantic thing my fiance does is set our google calendar reminders to sweet things like giving me a hug when i get home from work, etc. then i get emails with reminders all day.

  44. leeann says:

    Love your work!

Ok, so it may not seem romantic to many, but I am not a good cook at all. I have been married for less than 5 months and am trying to learn from my husband who is an excellent chef. So I cut up all of the veggies and other random foods and he is always sure to tell me that I am the best sous chef he has ever had! I love cooking with him <3

  45. Melissa says:

When I met my now fiancee, he lived an hour and a half away from me. On about our third date, he called me at work and said he wanted to make me dinner. When I questioned him about how he’d accomplish that, being so far away and considering I share my kitchen with 2 roommates, he just said ‘don’t worry about it, I’ll meet you at your place”. I texted him when I got home from work, and he told me to turn the oven on. He showed up soon after with a huge pan of delicious pasta with portobella mushrooms (my favorite) ready to go in the oven, garlic bread, salad and wine. I was blown away at the time and thought he put into this for a third date. :)

  46. Kathryn says:

I am a facebook fan. I think the Saturday morning hikes I take with my fiance are romantic.

  47. Celeste Maglan says:

I leave for work at 4:45 am. My fiance doesn’t work until 7:30 am, but he gets up, takes my bag & attache case out to the car, starts my car, and wipes off the morning dew from the side mirrors and all the windows.

  48. Melisabeth says:

    I’m now a fan.
I love anything having to do with being outside, especially being near water. That’s romantic for sure.
I also find it really romantic when my fiance does things around the house to help me out. He hates cleaning the kitchen, but he does it without me asking because he loves me. Maybe not “butterflies and rainbows” romantic, but romantic all the same.

  49. Sofie Strohmeier says:

I love dancing with my fiance, especially when we are completely alone.

  50. Hilary T. says:

My fiance and I met while in still in college, and as you can imagine for college students, money is pretty tight. This forced us to be creative when it came to dates. One of my favorite things my boy ever did for me, was to take me out to this lake, where he had built a little campfire. It was so incredibly romantic. We stayed out there for hours talking, eating smores, and enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds a crisp fall night has to offer.
