Cake and Bubbly Styled Shoot

A bubble bar, an adorable Labradoodle and a gorgeous couple who are head over heels in love? What’s not to love about this styled shoot by Kristal Childs? Here’s what Kristal had to say about the shoot.

I was sitting down with a great group of wedding vendors in the East Texas area, and we began brainstorming about a shoot that would not only inspire brides, but also be a realistic and attainable design, featuring vendors available locally. And let me tell you, we have some SERIOUS talent here in the piney woods of Texas. For this shoot, we went with a nontraditional color palette of mustard yellow, cream, white, tangerine and blush. We decided to ground the guest table and cake table with florals at the bases, and brought in a fabulous champagne truck (complete with a non-stop bubble machine sending bubbles around us like confetti.) The models are a real life soon-to-be-wed couple, and since we are all animal lovers, we couldn’t help but invite Waffles the Labradoodle to the shoot for some extra snuggles. We hope this shoot encourages couples to make their weddings about what they love, about what is most special to them!
