One Year Anniversary Shoot at Iconic Seattle Conservatory

Posted on March 20, 2017 by Christina

Who says a bride should only wear her wedding dress once? Anthony and Caitlyn celebrated their one-year anniversary in style with a photo shoot at the iconic Volunteer Park Conservatory in Seattle. Wearing a beautiful vintage wedding gown with delicate lace from Edith-Elan, and holding a stunning bouquet of blooms in a winter palette, Caitlyn was the epitome of old Hollywood glamour meets modern styling, while Anthony – sporting chinos and light grey suit jacket, looked equally dapper and on trend. The couple snuggled, and took in a few quiet moments amidst the Conservatory’s lush foliage and amazing blooms, before heading to a studio for more photos.

Thanks to Beginning and End Photography for submitting this gorgeous anniversary shoot!

    Brooklyn Elopement Styled Shoot

Posted on March 17, 2017 by Christina

Pizza and beer in NYC? Can today’s elopement styled shoot be any more fun?

Brooklyn photographer Julia Elizabeth got the inspiration for today’s styled shoot from her own neighborhood.

“There is so much to see and so much culture. I wanted to put together a shoot that showed a couple eloping in Brooklyn to provide inspiration to those hoping to elope here (or really anywhere),” she says. “Our couple went to their neighborhood pizza spot and enjoyed pizza and beer before getting ready together in their apartment in Williamsburg. I had this great graffiti wall in mind for portraits and knew the flowers could really help bring out the colors in the wall. I told the talented Michelle Edgemont about the wall and she created a beyond gorgeous bouquet for our bride. I love how the flowers really pop with her white dress against the colorful wall. We walked around their neighborhood for photos and then ended the shoot with the ceremony on the couple’s rooftop in Williamsburg at sunset.”

Stylist Allison Koehler said she really wanted the couple’s clothes to highlight their ultra Brooklyn vibe, which meant almost nothing traditional.

“A white linen dress for her, and all black (and leather!) for him. Layered necklaces and dainty stacking rings as opposed to a typical engagement ring. A vintage bowtie and brown accessories. We topped off the look with an embroidered jacket by Vilshenko, the perfect pop of color for our bride.”

A big thanks to Julia Elizabeth Photography for sending this shoot our way!
