    6 Must-See Courthouse Weddings

Posted on April 6, 2020 by Emily

Simple, stylish and budget-friendly; what’s not to love about courthouse weddings? Many couples are choosing to skip elaborate (and costly) ceremonies, and are opting to tie the knot at the courthouse.

Not sure whether a courthouse ceremony is a fit for you and your fiancé? Once you see these courthouse weddings, you’ll be saying “I do” to a courthouse ceremony.

With their closest family and friends by their sides, Dana and Gunnar tied the knot at the Anne Arundel County Courthouse.  They kept their ceremony small and intimate, and then celebrated their newly married status with a larger reception.

The Seattle Courthouse is a popular location for elopements. It’s a beautiful location, with the option to say your ‘I do’s’ on the rooftop. That’s exactly what Cissy and Lewis did. The couple opted for a simple elopement with no guests, which made their wedding stress-free and allowed them to save money.

A courthouse wedding ceremony doesn’t have to be bare bones boring, especially when the courthouse in question is as beautiful as the Santa Barbara Courthouse – and the couple is as stylish as Dove and Matt.

Just because a wedding is simple, doesn’t mean it can’t be gorgeous. Jacob and Sara’s $1,500 elopement in Baltimore at the Mitchell Courthouse proves just that!

Nicole and Jabari‘s Annapolis Courthouse wedding was as elegant as can be. Surrounded by their 50 nearest and dearest, the couple tied the knot in a sweet, simple ceremony at the courthouse, then celebrated with a reception at a nearby restaurant.

Katie and Ethan tied the knot in front of the Santa Barbara County Courthouse, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their ceremony was truly beautiful- you’ll definitely want to check out their full wedding gallery.
